District level Interface of Mahila Kishans & Seed Mela’on 5th January 2017

            Greetings from Pragati, Koraput.

 

We are implementing the Mahila Kishan Sashaktikaran Parijojana under the NRLM with support of Government of India and Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, Mumbai in 7 Gram Panchayats of Koraput and Kotpad block areas covering 2200 Mahila Kishans. The interventions under the programme are focused on training and skill development, institution building, equipment support for organic practices, drudgery reduction of women farmers and agriculture promotion.

 

We are going to organize a “District level interface of Mahila Kishans& Seed Mela”  on 5^th January 2017 at Farmer Field School at Dayanidhiguda village in Kendar GP of Koraput Block. We are inviting 300 organicfarming practitioner farmers from the different Blocks of Koraput District to interact with Bankers, Agriculture Scientists, Researchers and Govt. officials. The interface and seed fair will create an opportunity for the farmers to exchange their learning on crop production and seed conservation. On this occasion KARMA, start up from IIT, Bhubaneswar will demonstrate models of Solar Technology i.e. home lighting, street lights, irrigation, clean cooking, RO drinking water, integrated Bijli, Pani, Indhan (BPI), Solar Powered Tractor eHUL and solar freezer.

 

We cordially invite you to participate in the event on 5^th January 2017 at 11.30 a.m. which will greatly benefit the farmers of Koraput District.

Thanks for invitation  , Please include/ involve  more line department officials  of the districts to interact with the framers about their schemes which could help them(farmers) for more convergence that is the main focus of organizing of interface program in MKSP project.
