I am sending this to our RT Google Group and to each of you directly. Please forgive the redundancy – I want to make sure you get this in time. Please call me [720-941-4742] if you have any questions or comments. Thanks.

Brethren, here is the revised agenda for tomorrow. We have two heavy issues to deal with:

  1. Selection of a new CD – two candidates: Greg Skomp and Kado Wahlberg
  2. Transition Leadership Team report and motion to approve Bylaw changes.

I’ve scheduled 40 minutes for each. I call upon our Warrior discipline to hold to those times. Let’s check-in quickly and with focus. Anything that is not crucial to the business of the meeting, I encourage you to communicate offline, both directly and indirectly, as you wish.

Items are being pushed to January that were intended for this meeting. I list them below:

a.       LKS Headman Hot Seat                                              Matt Heck (LKS)                  January RT Meeting

b.       Marketing & Enrollment Chair Hot Seat                         M. Dulude                           February RT Meeting

c.       RT Chair roles and responsibilities (Manual)                  Jonno Kinsella (CD)              January RT Meeting

d.       Special Meeting agreement proposal                            Jonno Kinsella (CD)              January RT Meeting

I will save my good-byes and final gifts to the RT for then. My personal time pales in importance before the CD Hot Seat and Bylaw issues. We’ll need all the time we can get.

The RT will change significantly through the Transition. Most of our functional positions (Finance, Communication, Marketing / Enrollment, and Center Administrator) will gradually fold into the new Executive Director’s responsibilities. We’ll still need a Center Director to carry our voice to MKP-USA, and preside over the Round Table as the various chairs communicate, cooperate and Coordinate their respective parts of our Program as MKP-CO – NWTAs, Circles, LKS, Diversity, Leaders,  and Elders). We will very much continue being the Community that was created out of our common Warrior experience. We’ll just be supported by a more robust organization. So, the RT is very much as relevant as it’s always been.

Lets use our creativity, focus, generosity and leadership to make this sea change consciously and smoothly.

Thanks!

Jonno Kinsella

MKP-CO Center Director
