Brothers of the MKPCO Round Table,

 

On behalf of my fellow TLT members, I want to let you know how excited we are looking forward to Wednesday's meeting! We will be doing a short, informational presentation as a precursor to the Town Hall Meeting on Sunday.

 

I am happy to see how all the new information we are creating is being received with thoughtfulness and discernment. We are feeling good about our work so far, and believe our presentation will demonstrate our ability to provide the deliverables required by the Charter on schedule.

 

Of course, part of our staying on schedule is your responsibility as well. Since the time allotted for us on the agenda Wednesday is limited, I implore you to read the documents included with this email before the meeting begins. You may find all our current postings on our website at www.innergoldinc.org.  Be sure to contact one of us if you have any trouble accessing them.

 

Some of these documents are works in progress, others are finalized. All the documents we present as works in progress are open to your input, questions and clarifications, while those documents presented as finalized have had the benefit of your input and come with our unanimous support and strongest recommendation. By the time of the Town Hall Meeting on November 14, all the documents we present will be finalized.

 

During our work we have discovered some transition areas and items (in addition to those in the Charter) we feel need our attention. We will be addressing those as they come up, and we will identify and include them along with the other deliverables outlined in the Charter.

 

Again, I am looking forward to seeing all of you at the meeting, and I ask you to please familiarize yourself with the documents we will be presenting before we meet. It is our intention to manifest clarity, consideration, compassion and competency in our work, and I thank you in advance for your clarity, consideration and compassion as well. I also deeply appreciate your support and input during this process.

Clyde,

I reviewed the documents posted at innergoldinc.org and do have some comments/concerns. Undoubtedly, a lot of good work has gone into creating the org chart and supporting documents.

Here is what I'm concerned about. We commonly experience difficulty attracting sufficient numbers of men to fill chair and committee positions. If I understand the org chart correctly, we would in effect end up with two or more entities, each with its own structure. First there would be Inner Gold with its BOD, ED and several committees. Then there would be a structure for each program, the main one at this time being MKP-CO with a Program Director and series of chairs and leads (these chairs and leads might also need committees). How can we possibly maintain two structures when we now struggle with one? Sorry if this sounds negative but I think now is the time to express my concerns and not after everything is voted on.
