Leader Body Chair November 2010 Report

1. After consulting LB members, the September Leader Body meeting was canceled to provide a break. Many men were putting lots of energy into Oct NWTA prep, the Visioning initiative, and other MKP related activities. No LB Report was provided for the October 13th RT meeting. Dennis Mead-Shikaly represented the Leader Body at that meeting as Steve Odiorne was out-of-town.
2. A successful "Guts" practice workshop was held on September 18th at St. Anthony's. Dennis Mead-Shikaly supervised. Cost was $75 per person.
3. On September 26th, a briefing was held at St. Anthony's Hospital. Bruce Maxwell presented the Stanford ACT 1 & ACT 2 recommendations that were made to MKP-USA. Colorado was the first MKP community to be briefed on this latest road tour of Bruce's. 17 people attended. Bruce was impressed with the level of interest, questions, & discussion.
4. MKP International Leader Council will roll out new BSDT, Advanced Staff Training (AST), and LT training protocols in 2011.
5. October LB meeting was held on October 27th.
6. Certified leaders, CLCs, and LITs must update their MKP database profiles and submit annual fees by December 30th.
7. October NWTA was very successful. 25 men entered as initiates and 25 men became New Brothers.
8. The Leader Body blessed Kent Montavon as a Leader In Training (LIT) on October 27th.
9. Confirmed dates for 2011 NWTAs (Spring & Summer dates changed at JCC request)

10. 2012 NWTAs (pending final confirmation from JCC)

11. "Guts" practice sessions are scheduled 2 weeks before each NWTA in 2011. Looking to do the same for 2012.
12. Working on scheduling a BSDT, AST, & LT-1 for 2011.
13. Next Leader Body meeting scheduled for 17 November 2010.
