Assalamu Alaikum dear community, for years,
WVMA has been a place where our families have gathered to pray, learn, grow,
and build meaningful connections. From our children’s first Qur’an classes to
community iftars, youth programs, halaqas, and Eid celebrations, these spaces
have become part of our collective story. As our community continues to grow,
so does the need for more space to serve future generations. In just 2 days, we
invite you to join us for a special evening as we come together to support
WVMA’s vision for a new additional location in Cupertino, a space that
will help expand opportunities for worship, education, youth programming, and
community connection for years to come, inshaAllah. We are honored to be joined
by: Shaykh Alauddin ElBakri, Shaykh Junaid Bhaiyat, Zahra Billoo, Imam Basil
Farooq. Together, we hope to build not only a facility, but a lasting legacy
for generations to come. Tickets are running out, so be sure to reserve
your spot soon! Fundraising Dinner: Saturday, May 30, 2026, 7:30 PM, Quinlan
Community Center, 10185 North Stelling Road, Cupertino, CA. Reserve your seats:

3. On behalf of Rahima Foundation,
we wish you and your loved ones a happy and blessed Eid-ul-Adha. For those
embarking on the sacred journey of Hajj this year, we pray for your safety,
acceptance of your ibadah, and a return filled with barakah. May Allah accept
your Hajj, Qurbani, and Duas. As we prepare for Eid, we kindly encourage you to
consider performing your Qurbani locally. With rising living costs and recent
layoffs affecting many households, families in our community are facing
increasing financial strain, and access to halal meat has become difficult for
some. Your Qurbani meat can bring smiles and ensure that these families are
able to share in the blessings of Eid. For your convenience, we have included
the following: • Recommended meat guidelines, • A list of local halal meat
providers offering Qurbani/Udhiya services, • Collection dates and times at the
Rahima Foundation warehouse. May your sacrifice be accepted and your generosity
be rewarded. Jazak Allah Kheyr. Shakila Cochinwala, Chairperson, Rahima Board.
