My Life Is a War: I Want to Live in Peace A film by Dr. Iman Farajallah in Gaza, where the sky too often carries the sound of war, children learn to see the world differently. Through the eyes of Palestinian children in Gaza, this film invites you into a world where childhood unfolds beneath the shadow of occupation and the echo of bombs. We witness not only the reality of occupation and bombardment, but the quiet strength of young hearts that still dare to hope. In My Life Is a War: I Want to Live in Peace, Dr. Iman Farajallah returns to the place that shaped her childhood, a place where she, too, grew up under Israeli occupation. With tenderness and honesty, she gives voice to children whose stories are rarely heard, stories of loss, resilience, and the simple, powerful dream of living in peace. This film is their testimony. Their truth. Their hope. Finger foods, tea, and fresh Palestinian knafeh will be served. Henna art will be available. Guests will have the opportunity to write support letters and create drawings to send to Gaza. 2.    Save the date: 25^th Annual Santa Clara County Palestinian Cultural Day PCD2026 is on Saturday May 16^th, 2026: the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors, and the Palestinian Heritage Committee are co-sponsoring the 25^th Annual SCC Palestinian Cultural Day to celebrate Palestinian culture and contributions to our community. This event will take place at the County Governmental Center on 70 W. Hedding Street, San Jose, CA, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. I hope you can attend and please share with the community, and we look forward to seeing you at the event.

4.    ISNA Convention 2026 in Detroit, Michigan: We at the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) are delighted to announce that the 63^rd Annual ISNA Convention will take place in Detroit, Michigan, over the Labor Day Weekend, September 4 - 7, 2026.
