2. Assalaamu Alaykum, we often
speak about Isra & Miraj as a miracle of the heavens. But we rarely
speak about the pain that came before it. Before the ascent… There
was a loss. Before the honor… There was rejection. Before the heavens
opened… the world closed in on him ﷺ. That’s why we’re inviting you to a
special seminar: 🌸 Join us for Beyond the
Heavens An Introduction to Isra & Miraj with Shaykh
Majed Mahmoud 🗓️ Date: January 9, 2026, 🕖 Time: 7 PM Onwards, 📍 Venue: West Valley Muslim Association.
✨ Together, we’ll revisit: When Quraysh were desperate…
and plotting his death, three years of boycott, hunger, and isolation, The
Year of Sorrow: losing Abu Talib and Khadijah (RA), His most painful day
in Taif—stoned, bleeding, rejected, And the dua he made when he had
nothing left but Allah, 🌿 It’s a reminder for
anyone who has ever felt: Exhausted, Broken, Alone, Or at the lowest
point of their journey, Because Isra & Miraj was Allah’s response
to unbearable pain. When the world turned away from him ﷺ, Allah called
him closer than any human had ever been. Join us for Beyond the
Heavens and experience Isra & Mi‘raj not just as a miracle in
the sky… but as mercy sent at the exact moment it was needed most. May
Allah allow this reminder to soften our hearts and renew our hope. We’ll
see you there in sha Allah, Wasalaam. https://almaghrib.us10.list-manage.com/track/click?u=597c15e077ed9c02decd65ef6&id=be7b3e40ff&e=12628f5fed&i=d29e3a4e32,

Over the past 33 years, we have been serving
our community through programs like Quran Quest & Seerah Quest, youth
mentoring, summer camps, weekly halaqas, and educational classes with Imam
Fuad. Now, it’s time to take the next big step: Building Futures. One of our
main goals this year is to purchase a permanent community home that truly
belongs to us—and future generations. Why It Matters: Building Youth: A hub to
form strong Islamic identity, mentorship, and leadership. Building Community: A
permanent home for prayer, halaqas, family programs, gatherings, and nurturing
deeper community bonds. Building Foundation: Expanded educational programs with
Imam Fuad to reach more hearts and minds. Building Legacy: A strong institution
to serve future generations long after us. We look forward to seeing you on
January 31st to Build Futures together. Please share this with a friend and
earn the reward of: الدال على الخير كفاعله. "The one who guides to good is
like the one who does it."
