With loving memory and heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Br. Zafar Shaikh. He was a devoted husband, a caring father, a beloved brother, and an affectionate uncle. His family is forever grateful for his wisdom, warmth, and kindness that touched the lives of all who knew him.
Br. Zafar was an active and respected member of the Bay Area Muslim Community. He was among the original group that helped establish the South Bay Islamic Center and dedicated many years of service to the Indian Muslim Relief Committee (IMRC) as a Board Member, volunteer, and President.
Professionally, Br. Zafar built a distinguished career at Syntex, a pioneering pharmaceutical company, where he was among the founding members. His dedication, integrity, and humility were hallmarks of both his professional and personal life.
He is survived by his wife Zaheda, son Kasim, and daughter Sabina, who sincerely thank everyone for their kind condolences, prayers, and support during this difficult time. The family humbly requests your continued du‘ahs for Br. Zafar Shaikh.
