Asalaam Alaikum dear
Brothers & Sisters,
Please see below some Bay Area Muslim community
events for Jumm'ah, Friday April 3rd, 2026 & the near future,
InshaAllah.

Dear Community Members
and Friends, As-Salaamu Alaikum, On Monday, April 13, 2026, we’re
returning to Sacramento for Muslim
Day at the Capitol—and I
would love for you to join us. This isn’t just another date on the calendar.
It’s a day to show up, claim our space, and remind elected officials who they
serve. Why Attend? Every year, walking the Capitol halls reminds me why
advocacy matters. When we show up together—students, parents, professionals,
elders—we send a powerful message: Muslims are organized, engaged, and here to
demand action. At a time when decisions in Sacramento shape our safety, our
rights, and our families' future, showing up isn't optional. It’s vital.
Nothing replaces being in the room. Turning
Presence Into Power. I’ve seen the
difference our presence makes. When we fill the Capitol, lawmakers listen.
Bills shift. Narratives change. For many, it’s the moment they realize
democracy isn’t a spectator sport. It belongs to those who claim it. Mark Your Calendar. Don’t
sit this one out. Mark your calendar now and bring someone with you—a friend, a
family member, or your local masjid group. Let them see the strength of our
community in action. Stay Connected. Registration details and legislative priorities are
coming soon. Remember: we don't just show up to be seen. We show up to change
what’s possible. I hope to see you in Sacramento, in sha'Allah. In solidarity,
Zahra Billoo, Esq. Executive Director, CAIR-SFBA
