Asalaam Alaikum,

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Please join the BVMCC community for one of the following on Jumm'ah, Friday September 6, 2024, InshaAllah.

PARKING rules enforcement are in effect at/around the BVMCC parking lots by ticketing and/or towing away at owners’ expense. Accordingly, illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed or towed at the expense of the violator/owner. As the cost to retrieve one's vehicle can exceed several hundred dollars, avoid this expense by parking legally.

Please note:

1.     inshaAllah, there will be Iqama time change at BVMCC: Isha to 9:00 pm, starting tomorrow Saturday September 7, 2024.

2.     On Fridays, please use the parking lot across the street or use the street parking, then walk (please use the clearly designated crosswalks) to come to BVMCC, unless you or someone accompanying you are not able to do so then you can use BVMCC parking lot, but always please follow all the parking rules-regulations & always be courteous to the other businesses in the shopping center, giving them space to their employees, clients, & customers. Please do not park on the curbs even if is not painted in red “fire lane”, Jazakum Allah Kairan for displaying the best Islamic manners within the larger community.

NOTE: Santa Teresa High School across the street is back in session, please do not park on the streets around the school (main street or the side streets), The City of San Jose parking enforcement will be on & around the STHS site daily to enforce parking rules & issue citations for violators.

3.     Please donate generously to BVMCC’s both the “updated” annual operation expenses, and the new building project funds. If you made a pledge this Ramadan-1445 and wants to fulfill it, please see Br. Husam. Jazakum Allah Kairan.

10.                     Santa Clara County Immigrant Belonging Project: The County’s Office of Immigrant Relations has launched its Immigrant Belonging Project. This project aims to understand the needs, contributions, and challenges many immigrants face. The County has invited independent researchers to hold Community Conversations to hear directly from immigrant community members. One conversation will focus on the experience of Muslim immigrants specifically. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is helping to spread the word.
