As-Salaamu 'Alaikum.
Tofael Ahmed passed away today (4-2-2022) in Arizona.
Please see the text-6 below from Tofael's son Tareen to me.
Inna lillaahi wa inna ilaihi raaji'oon.
Tofael Ahmed was one of the finest human beings that I ever came across in my lifetime. So much good memories through BABA, Halaqa, SBIA, Professions and so much more in Silicon Valley days, months, and years. There are no words
adequate to express our level of shock and sadness. May Allah (swa) bless Tofael in the eternal peace in heaven where there is never ever any more pain.
May Allah (swa) give all the patience and sab'r to his bereaved family and relatives and friends to pass through this very difficult phase.
Goodbye to you my dear friend Tofael. Goodbye. Please rest in eternal peace in heaven and keep smiling the way you always smiled. You have gone just to the other side of the fence where we all will meet again soon iA.

Text-3 from Tareen (8:15 PM on 3-31-2002)
Assalamualaikum uncle, I just wanted to give you another update on my father’s condition. Alhamdulillah my father is still alive and with us. He remains
in critical condition but his heart and breathing is under control at this time. He is still intubated on a ventilator machine but he is starting to show some signs of breathing on his own. His heart is under control at this time with a pacemaker and appropriate
heart medicines. InshaAllah my family and I will be closely by his side and will continue to do everything we can to manage his care.

There was a big scare yesterday that he may not make it through the night according to what the doctors were implying to us. He seems to be stable for now but he is still in very critical condition. We are trying to do everything we can to support his care while not causing him any discomfort. InshaAllah I will continue to keep you updated on how things go. JazakAllah

Assalamualaikum uncle, just wanted to keep you updated that my dad is still alive and with us at this time. He is still in critical condition but Alhamdulillah he is at least still alive and with us. He is in a lightly sedated state and is still on all the medical support right now to keep him breathing and his heart rate under control. He will from time to time become briefly alert and look at us, but otherwise he is still in a lightly sedated state. They have been doing brief trials with how he does off the ventilator machine and he is able to breathe on his own for a short time but he is still very weak so they have him back on the ventilator machine to help him breathe. His heart is under control at this time with a pacemaker and appropriate heart medicines but there is still some risk for the heart giving out at any moment. We are all praying for him and staying closely with him at his bedside and will continue to do everything we can to support him and his care while not causing any discomfort for him. There have been 3 cardiac arrests this week including one today and that has caused significant damage to the heart.

uncle, this is Tarin Ahmed speaking on behalf of my father Tofael Ahmed. I wanted to update you on my father‘s health. My father suffered several episodes of cardiac arrest and is in critical condition in the hospital. Please make dua for us and our family.

Inshallah my uncle and I and our fellow Muslim brothers in the Bangladeshi community here are working to arrange what will happen next if he passes away. We are working closely with the hospital team to
do everything we can to manage his care. He has suffered damage to his heart and his heart may not keep going on for much longer. They are upfront with us that he may pass away any moment or within the next day. My mother, sister, myself, and my uncle will
