Madhury's SUNY Medical Residency Graduation Ceremony (6-10-2013)
Dear Friends,
We are very humbled to inform you that our younger son Jamal will be graduating from Harvard Law School with JD (Doctor of Jurisprudence) this week on May 30, 2013. We are all gathering in Boston as a family this week to attend Jamal’s graduation ceremony at Harvard campus on May 30. We are also very happy to inform you that Jamal has been awarded the prestigious Presidential Fellowship (PMF), and he will, insha-Allah, be working for the US Federal Government for about two years starting sometime this Fall, after his graduation from Harvard Law School this week, and after taking the California State Bar Exam sometime this summer. Jamal will be doing his Fellowship in Washington DC, or in New York or in California. We are feeling very happy with these wonderful news. Alhamdu-lillah. All praise belongs to Allah (swa). Please pray for Jamal.
We are also very humbled to inform you that our elder daughter Madhury will be graduating from 4 years of Medical Residency in OB/Gyn from the State University of New York (SUNY) in Brooklyn, New York on June 10, 2013. We are also gathering in New York as a family to attend Madhury’s graduation ceremony at SUNY on June 10, 2013. We are also very happy to inform you that Madhury has received some very good job offers as practicing MD, and she will pick one of the offers. Madhury did her MD (Doctor of Medicine) 4 years ago from Drexel University in Philadelphia. Madhury also studied at UC-Berkeley in California, Georgetown University in DC, and Johns Hopkins University in Maryland. Madhury received many prestigious awards including Valedictorian, US-Presidents award, UC-Regents scholar, IBM TJ Watson Scholar and Silicon Valley Youth Hall of Fame award. Madhury got engaged with Rezwan on January 1, 2011 in New York, and then Madhury and Rezwan got married on May 28, 2011 in Silicon Valley, California in presence of the Silicon Valley Bangladeshi community, as well as friends and relatives from out-of-town, out-of-state and overseas. Rezwan grew up in New York city, where he earned his MBA, and he worked for a number of financial corporations in the Wall Street in Manhattan, New York. Rezwan currently works at Federal Reserve Bank in Manhattan, New York. Rezwan’s father is Syed Reza Ali, who is a BUET Graduate from Dhaka in mid-1960. He worked in Bangladesh for about 20 years, and then he moved to America with his family, worked in New York for over 20 years, and is now settled in New York city. Rezwan’s grandfather was Syed Murtaza Ali (Brother of Syed Muztaba Ali).
Our elder son Kamal graduated from UCLA in EE (Electrical Engineering) in 2008 and he is currently working for a high-tech defense company in Silicon Valley as an Electrical Engineer. Our younger daughter Monika graduated from UC-San Diego with double Majors in 2011, and she is now studying at Columbia University in Manhattan, New York doing Masters in Public Health (MPH).
All of our 4 children were identified as GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) students early on, and they all received US President’s Awards early on. We have included here some pictures of Jamal, Madhury-Rezwan's wedding, and our family pictures for your view.
We are indeed very grateful to Allah (swa) for these immensely blessed gifts. Alhamdu-lillah. All the praise belongs to Allah (swa). Please pray for our children and for our whole family.

Madhury's SUNY Medical Residency Graduation Ceremony (6-10-2013)
Dear Friends,
Alhamdu-lillah, the graduation ceremony of our younger son Jamal at Harvard Law School took place on May 30, 2013 in Boston, and the Medical Residency Graduation ceremony of our elder daughter Madhury at State University of New York (SUNY) took place on June 10, 2013 in Brooklyn New York. We as a family gathered in Boston and in New York to attend these two very special graduation ceremonies of our family. We are very happy to share with you some of the photographs of these two graduation ceremonies of Jamal and Madhury in this e-mail.
Jamal is now in California preparing for his California State Bar Exam this summer. After that he will work on identifying the department of the Federal Government for his Presidential Fellowship that he has been awarded for two years. Madhury will be joining the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York starting next month. We are indeed very grateful to Allah (swa) for these immensely blessed gifts. Alhamdu-lillah. All the praise belongs to Allah (swa). Please pray for our children and for our whole family.
