OK very nice to know its original meanings in Latin
if it is not difficult,let me know more about ;like after meal,before meal and some words relating to meal, and so on...
If i would be let known, i am very grateful

Abbreviations Latin meaning English meaning
a.c Ante Cibos Before meals
p.c Post Cenam After meals
h.s Hora Somni At bedtime


note: a.c is usually also used as "with food."
a.c = Ante Cibum = Before a meal
