1. Picture day is Friday, Sept. 17th. Look over the picture
envelope with your parents to choose your picture package. Don�t
forget! Package choice and money are due on picture day.
2. Pink it up!!! Dance for the Cure, McCormick's first dance
of the year, will happen this Friday, September 10, from 2:45 - 4:30.
Tickets are on sale during the lunch periods for $5. Tickets at the door
on Friday will be $6. Everyone is encouraged to wear pink for the dance
to show support for the fight against cancer and the Susan G. Komen
Foundation.
3. There will be a student council meeting today during 8th
grade lunch. All 7th and 8th grade members are expected to
attend. Seventh grade members should sign out of study hall before coming
to room 207.
4. Huron Public Library has chess classes, Saturday, September
11 from 10 AM- 12:30 PM and Wednesday, September22 from 5:30 � 7:30 PM.

5. Teen Library Council (TLC) is looking for new members! If
you are going to be in the 7th through12th grade and would like to make a
difference at Huron Public Library while having some fun, join the Teen
Library Council. Applications are available online at [
http://www.huronlibrary.org/ ]www.huronlibrary.org or at the circulation
desk in the library. The council meets monthly during the school year. In
September, old and new members alike can attend either Monday, September
13 or Friday, September 17 from 3- 4:30 PM.Along with mapping out our
year, we will be playing �Chain Reaction.� Hope you can join us!
6. Student Council is participating in the Sandusky Mall's School Spirit
Program. In order for you to help, please put your mall receipts in an
envelope with your name and homeroom on the outside. This is extremely
important so that we can get the receipts returned to you. Place your
envelope in the box in the office. Your receipts will be returned to you
within a week. We are currently in first place, but we need your help to
stay there. If you have questions about the program, see a student
council member or Mrs. Rowen.
