1.
Huron High
School will not be
offering "all-school” physicals this spring for student athletes.
Firelands Regional Medical Center is no longer providing that service.
Please inform your parents this is no longer available; you will need to make
other arrangements for your sports physical.
2.
Reservations
for the Academic Dinner are due by tomorrow, Friday, May 2nd. If you plan to attend or not attend, we
need a reply from you and your parents.
3.
The Teen Library Council at
the Huron Public Library will have a short meeting this Friday, May 2, at 3:15 pm. Plans will be finalized and permission slips will be
distributed for the after-hours event on Friday,
May 9.
4.
Attention, current National Junior Honor Society members -
NOT the newly invited, please - current National Junior Honor Society members will
meet during study hall on Friday in Mrs. Aber's room. Please come directly
after lunch. We have several things to get done in a brief time.
5. Attention all students! You have the opportunity to wear your favorite hat to school every Wednesday in May and flip-flops every Friday in May. In order to do this, you must donate $1 or more each time you participate. All proceeds will be donated to the Tanny Vonthron Memorial Scholarship Fund at the end of the school year. Show your support for this worthwhile cause by participating in this activity sponsored by National Junior Honor Society and Student Council.
6. OAA testing will be held this morning from 7:45 until 10:20. When everyone is finished testing, you will be asked to report to fifth period. After fifth period, you will have lunch and studyhall periods, then, periods 6, 7 and 8 in the afternoon.
