1.
Huron High
School will not be
offering "all-school” physicals this spring for student athletes.
You need to make other arrangements for your sports physical.
2.
Don’t forget
to wear your favorite hat on Wednesday and flip-flops on Friday. You must
donate $1 or more each time you participate. All proceeds will be donated to the Tanny Vonthron Memorial
Scholarship Fund at the end of the school year.
3.
Students may not charge
lunches or extras in the cafeteria for the remainder of the school year.
4.
Attention seventh
grade…. GET READY FOR THE BATTLE!!! The aggressive nerds, the green
machines, the smithsonians, the light sombreros and the freight trains will
battle it out this Friday! May the best homeroom win!
5.
Tuesday ~ Attention, eighth grade girls! If you are interested in joining the high school Tigerettes,
plan to attend a mandatory meeting today. Please, report to the high school band room. You and a
parent must attend this meeting.
Practice will follow until 8:00.
Practice will be held on Wednesday from 3:15 till 6:30. Tryouts will be held on Saturday, May
31.

Tuesday, May 27 ~ The NJHS Induction Ceremony will be held this evening
beginning at 5:30.

Wednesday, May 28 ~ Attention, eighth grade girls! Plan to attend a meeting during
studyhall today if you are interested in soccer.

stop by the office to sign up.
9.
Attention, seventh
graders! A golf clinic will be
held in June for students interested in golf. Stop by the office to pick up information.

July 12 ~ The Firelands Regional
Medical Center Is proud to sponsor this year’s Huron River Fest 5k, Saturday,
July 12th at 8:00 AM. This year’s
proceeds will go towards the Tanny Vonthron Scholarship Fund. There is a 5k race and a 1k Fun
run. Walkers are welcome. Race forms are available in the office
or by asking your teacher. You can
also go to the Huron River Fest website:
