PROGRAM APRIL 15 AT THE MUSEUM
The Mizel Museum is pleased to announce that this year’s program will
feature a co-presentation by Editor-in-Chief of "Tablet Magazine,"
Alana Newhouse, and artistic director and founder of the Kol Neshama
Performing Arts Conservatory in a Los Angeles, Robin Garbose.
Georgina Kolber, Curator of Exhibitions, Collections and Programs at
the Mizel Museum, will offer a free sneak preview of Jewish Women in
the Arts presenters Alana Newhouse and Robin Garbose’s unique and
fascinating work on Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
at the Mizel Museum, 400 S. Kearney Street in Denver. Please contact

The 6th Annual Jewish Women in the Arts Art Exhibit, Art Sale and
Program will be presented by the Mizel Museum and the Denver and
L.E.A. Chapters of Hadassah Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Congregation
Emanuel, 51 Grape St., in Denver from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. During the
art exhibit from 11:00 am - 12:15 pm, breakfast hors d'oeuvres will be
served under the supervision of the Va’ad. The 2010 event honoree is
artist and Holocaust educator, Paula Burger. The event features the
work of local Jewish women artists chosen to participate in a juried
exhibition, an art sale and presentation of the award. Reservations

Jewish Women in the Arts Exhibit and Program are $36 if purchased
before May 7. Reservations made after May 7, 2010 are $45 per ticket.
