You're invited to "Art U", open studios at Arts on 7th, where studio artists
will offer FREE workshops and demos in painting, mosaic and photography. You
can also just come to look at art and explore 14 different sutdios.
The event is from 1pm-6pm on Saturday, April 24. Children are welcome.

Does anyone have advice/experience to share about submitting work to a
gallery (which would be great of course) or other display, and making sure
it is kept safe? I noticed the METAV guidelines mentioned that they
encourage artists to carry their own insurance and wasn't quite sure what to
make of that! Thanks in advance for your input.

I'm vacating my studio at Arts on 7th (the art will continue, however!) and
am hoping to find buyers for various things.

If you're exhibiting at Jewish Women in the Arts, or have other shows lined
up, you might be interested in:

- 2 lightweight, portable, adjustable height folding tables (max: counter
height), 4'x2': $40 each
- 4 black nylon custom table coverings for 4'x2' tables: $20 each
- custom black nylon table cover for a 6-foot table: $25
- 12 tabletop easels for artwork display (6" high, 2 3/4" deep, black metal
with scroll design): $7 each
- 3 wooden stools: $10 each
- metal grids for art display - 6 panels and stands that can be
connected/configured many ways, plus hanging hooks:
$200 for all six, not sold separately.

Pictures available upon request.

PLUS ...

For the jewelry designers, many lovely Czech, African and Italian glass
beads, too many to list individually but these are distinctive, quality
beads that I bought wholesale. Browsers welcome - call first to set up a
time.

And there is probably more to come!
