Much work has gone into improving and simplifying MIXR's infrastructure to link I/O device(s) to executable applications.  The I/O library (previously named 'iodevice') was a bit deceptive in terms of the capability and flexibility it offers, as well as, how to leverage it to connect and map analog and digital I/O 'channels' from 1 or more devices to a simulations I/O interface.

The intent of the changes was to simplify the library, yet offer the same capability and flexibility for configuration and extension.  Due to the changes, and the desire to better indicate it's role in linking and mapping I/O devices to a simulation interface, this library has been renamed to 'iolinkage'.

The work that went into these enhancements has just been merged into MIXR's master branch.  Much work went into revising this flexible i/o package that I hope make it easier to understand and use.
