Thanks for the previous quick response.

I am an contractor at the NASA Langley Research Center, and we are currently evaluating 3rd-party flight sims for adoption into an Urban Air Mobility/Emergent Air Vehicle study.  At NASA, we have cyber security issues in addition to licensing issues with 3rd party software.  How do you handle them?

MIXR is 100% open -- I don't have to deal with organizational security concerns.  My only concern 'concerns' what can be in the open.

I understand.  When it comes to security for free and open, it's caveat emptor.  (I don't know the Latin for "let the user beware".)  It's the same implicit policy for Android apps on Google Play.  This helps in our final recommendations.  Thanks!

I'm not aware of any cyber security issues of concern -- I'm not even sure what that means in the context of open-source software.

As far as licensing, I only use 3rd party libraries that have a very permissive license -- and for reference include those particular licenses in the 'doc' folder for reference.

Does that help?
