mainQt1 example doesn't show a map

Looking at the code, there are instances of MapView, MapItem, but no Map. Is this intentional?

Are there any recommendations for integrating an actual, let's say OpenStreetMap, provider so that we can see where the F-16s are flying?

mainQt1 should just display a "map" in terms of a lat/lon grid pattern with aircraft.
