About Covariates

Hi,

Let me begin by saying that I think MIXMOD is a wonderful
contribution.

My question is does MIXMOD allow for covariates? (A few re-phrasings)
Does it allow for model based clustering/finite mixture models? Can I
specify a response variable and predictors for it? Is it possible to
parameterize the mean and/or scale of the mixing (in my case,
multinomial) distributions in terms of co-observed variates?

I am new to Matlab & MIXMOD.

Dear Tirthankar

I thank you for your request. It is actually an interesting suggestion
for future versions of Mixmod. But, in its present version, it is not
possible to take covariables into account.
