Hey everyone,

As in past years, depending on numbers, we may ask that returners only come one of two days.

Sorry about not putting a subject on before. Here are the rides. There might be a bit of car shuffling because I'm waiting to hear from a couple of people about whether they're driving or need rides. I also heard from a driver who may need to drop out for Sunday.

Please contact your driver (in bold) to set up a pickup time and location with them. Everyone's e-mail address should be listed here. If you don't hear back from someone, let me know.

The first round starts at 9, so please be at the fields at 8 to start warming up.

Mixed Easterns is this coming weekend at Devens it's our first tournament together this season! I don't think our seed coming in matters all that much - what matters is how we play at the tournament, staying positive and coming out with lots of energy. It's our first tournament of the season and we should be excited!

You can find the USAU tournament page at http://play.usaultimate.org/events/Mixed-Easterns-2015/. I'm going to be putting together our roster on the USAU site. Since we are bringing more people than are allowed on the roster, not everyone will make it to the "official" roster, but that's not a big deal. I will be bugging you to sign your USAU waiver and renew your membership if you haven't already.

We're going to be driving there and back each day, not staying in a hotel. The fields are about an hour away and the address you can put into your GPS is Rogers Field Buena Vista St Harvard, MA 01434.

Our colors are navy for dark (black if you don't have navy) and a white. Please also bring your cleats, water and your excitement because this is going to be a good tournament for us.

If your availability has changed and you can't make a day you originally signed up for, please let me know. I'm going to put together rides shortly.

Equally important!!!

I'd like to repeat the Saturday afternoon post-Mixed Easterns BBQ at Grant's House from last year. My house is conveniently located on the way back from the fields to Boston / Cambridge / Somerville, just a few minutes from where Rt. 2 ends at Alewife. It's about an 8 minute walk from Davis Sq too, which means if your driver wants to leave before you do, you can stay longer and walk to the Red Line easily.

So on the way back from the tourney, all cars are invited to stop in at 1087 Broadway #1, Somerville for some beers, burgers, dogs, salads and maybe some other foods if I get creative. I've got a backyard with cornhole, kan jam, and slammo/spikeball. Those who are not playing on Saturday can come too, all are welcome (Matty B and Daphne...)!! It'll probably kick off around 5/6pm as people get back from the fields.

Anyways it was a lot of fun last year so let's do it again. It's the perfect post-tournament way to chill out!

2) Everyone needs to do 3 things on the USAU member account if they haven't already: sign your waiver online, renew your USAU membership and confirm that you are participating on Mixed Nuts. That way I can add you to our roster. This includes both tryouts and returners!

Is anyone planning on driving a little later Saturday? Nads is coming back from Japan and his flight comes into Logan at 6:50AM, which will put him at home in Brookline sometime between 7:30 and 7:45 and he needs a ride.

There's been a lot of car hopping recently and Bryant Wolf dropped out for Sunday, so I apologize for the last minute shuffling. Please look this over for any changes. Most people should not be affected and I've been e-mailing separately so the biggest changes are coming from Bryant's people being redistributed on Sunday.

Kosty, since your car has emptied out on Saturday, maybe you want to carpool with Katy or Ben N so only one of you has to drive? I'll leave that to you guys to arrange.

Also, Buck, does BGM need a ride on Sat? If so from where and how can we get in touch with him?

Does anyone know Derka's phone number? I haven't been able to get in touch with him on e-mail.
