Pickup and tryouts

Hey everyone,

As a reminder, we have pickup this Wednesday night, April 30th from 7-9pm on Ebersol fields, which you can find on a map here: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Teddy+Ebersol's+Red+Sox+Field/@42.363474,-71.072248,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x89e3709818bb24d5:0xe973c3640658f601. I don't think we'll have tons of people out, so feel free to bring someone you know who is interested. Also, please bring $5 to help cover the cost of lights. As a reminder, here are the Ebersol notes:

* There is a parking lot for Ebersol, but it only holds a few cars and it fills up quickly. I strongly encourage taking public transportation or biking. Both the Red Line (Charles MGH) and Green Line (Science Park) are nearby

* Ebersol fields are technically for softball and we need to give way to softball players or our permits can be revoked. That means if they hit it to the middle of our field, we need to stop whatever we're doing immediately and let them play through.

* If you are biking, don't ride your bike on the grass. When you get to the fields, get off your bike and walk them to where we're playing

Open tryouts will be the following two Wednesday nights, May 7th and May 14th at Ebersol. If you know people who are interested, please have them fill out our information spreadsheet at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Z8bbiMQQPVjMfTRtTZSm5r_2EmwSo6Cj7WtEpqR9rHc/viewform?usp=send_form. Please do come if you can and help manage some of the new folks.
