Hey guys -

Did anyone else hear about this:
http://musicmachinery.com/2009/06/02/the-first-music-app-in-the-java-app-store/
http://java.com/en/store/apply.jsp

It would be great to put the Mixblendr desktop app in the store. Has
anyone heard anything about getting an app onto the store (its still
in beta)?

Hey guys was there at the announcement, yes it's in beta and they have still to figure out how billing will work.

Btw did you know you can now also drag and drop applets out of the browser to desktop on the Mac now as well? With the latest Java (1.6.0_13) from Apple and only on Safari but you need to set up some tags to allow it, I can help with that.

Fantastic! yeah billing isn't really an issue for us at this point :)

dragging out of the applet to the desktop sounds amazing -- would love
to get your help with that. I thought that was just a JavaFX thing,
glad they added it to regular old Java too.
