Hi all,
I haven't made online visualizations in a while and so have spent some
time catching up on the libraries that are out there. One in
particular has stuck out and I'm not sure if it is well known but the
D3 library seems to be able to do a lot and I'm enjoying playing
around with it:

http://mbostock.github.com/d3/

It is mostly descriptive programming so doesn't require deep coding
knowledge. The documentation is quite dense and the 'tutorial' they
have on the site is really bad but this blog got me off the ground
pretty fast:

Anyway, hope this helps someone and happy mashing,

Nathan

FYI I've also used D3 in the Mashup Guide. It's great that there is
more than one person on the list who may be able to answer questions
about it.

Yup, d3 is an excellent framework.

If there are any newbies looking for an overview of the frameworks out
there I made this during my 4th year project:

It's very basic, but hopefully it will help someone out there.

Feel free to add to it as you see fit,

This matrix is excellent. Do you mind if I share the link with the
open visualisation mailing list?
