Trenton Danny "Tran" Wu is the one of the main two tritagonists alongside his best friend Cole Burris, Jeet Kune Do champion and necklace-wearer of Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid. Ever since his childhood, he received his Chinese scab necklace from his aunt after fighting the bullies at the Jeet Kune Do match. He is 23 years old, is Bill Johnson's friend and partner, is one of the tour guides and is played by Karl Yune.

Tran Wu is Chinese-American just like his family and is the second-oldest of four children along with his twin brother Lester Mark who is four minutes younger and has a younger sister Valerie (nicknamed: Val) who is almost eight years younger and an older brother Aaron who is almost 4 years older. He was born Trenton Danny Wu in San Francisco, California to his Hong Kong Chinese parents Wendy Ho and Thom Wu and moved to Malibu, California when he was 5 years old. His cousin Julie lives in San Francisco, his uncle Bob Ho is a secret agent from China, his aunt Marissa Ho is a Jeet Kune Do expert and his paternal grandparents both live in a boat-house in Borneo. Tran owns seven pets: a dog Mushu, a cat Mi-Mi, a rabbit Ming-Ming, a guinea pig Ping, a turtle Lee-Wun, a goldfish Nin and a parakeet bird Lexi. He used to own a pet ball python Lea before Lee-Wun but sadly she died by his bike accident. Also, Tran used to have a pet guide dog Ginger before Mushu but sadly she was killed by a anaconda underwater after rescuing him in the cave while in Borneo family summer vacation as a family guide dog. He and Lester Mark have been best friends since they were born and the twin brothers and their best friends Cole Burris and Sam Rogers have been best friends since pre-school. He has also been good friends with Bill Johnson since he was 7 and Bill was 11 almost 12. At the age of 8, after beating the bullies down and while winning the Jeet Kune Do match and receiving his Jeet Kune Do trophy, Tran earned his necklace from his aunt which has a Chinese double-fishtail-shaped scab and he still wears for keeps and still promises not to take off. One time after that, after wearing a prince crown he designed with real burrs from the thistle bush and playing the prince in the school play The Swan Princess and the Peanut Butter Prince commercial, his crown was stuck in his hair and his dad had to cut all the burrs out after the school play was over. He never put burrs in his hair again. At the age of 9, Tran stayed home alone capable enough the first time while his parents were out for their anniversary, work, meetings and honeymoons. He had also stayed up until 11:00pm on school nights the first time too. Tran had also grown his hair out to his neck-length. He went to Borneo for the first time on vacation with his family and friends where he met his grandparents at their boat house and he befriended Bill's future pet monkey Kong and he, Bill, Sam, Jamie, Cole and Kong are still friends. Tran went to the Borneo bar where he sang karaoke and one day, after a Borneo anaconda devoured some of the client people he knew including the bar owner Lisa Barnfield in a shack which made Tran gasp and cry in sobs and the researcher Mr Douglas in the waterways which made Tran scream in terror, Tran, Ginger and Kong fell in the cave in doom. Trapped in a cave, Tran looked everywhere for his family and friends but they were nowhere to be found. He was attacked by an anaconda but was rescued by Ginger while looking everywhere for family and friends as she killed anaconda with her teeth and claws, dug a hole for him and Kong to get out. Tran was proud of her saying "Good girl, Gin! Attagirl!". He thanked her for saving him and digging a hole to get out. But after Ginger saved him and Kong from falling in a hole, she accidentally fell in the other hole and underwater instead. Tran called "Ginger?". Ginger tried to swim out, but before she could could swim up, the anaconda slithered, stroke at her and pulled her underwater. She was devoured by a snake underwater after rescuing her owner from being killed or injured. Tran tried to find her as he called "Ginger, Ginger, come here, girl!" but gasped that she was gone as the water she was killed in after saving him was all red bloody and covered in all her dog fur floating everywhere. He and Kong escaped the cave hole that Ginger dug and bravely ran to safety from danger. After that Tran looked when yelling "Anaconda! David Serone! I'm not afraid of you two! And no one has to be afraid of both of you anymore!". He saw Paul Serone's son David Serone the school bully that Bill got picked on years ago and fought back with wrestling years ago. David had tied up Tran's family and friends with a rope as a revenge on Bill for wrestling him and tried to feed them to an anaconda, but Tran stopped him just in time. He used his Jeet Kune Do fight against him and punched and kicked him in the river causing David to be eaten by an anaconda underwater instead as he screamed his last line "Dad! Dad! Dad! Daddy!". Sighing in relief, Tran pulled out his scab necklace from underneath his shirt and held and looked at it. He was then called by Kong with some bad news about an anaconda that devoured Lisa, Mr Douglas and other clients he knew and even his dog Ginger and attacked his family and friends so he picked up his grandfather's rifle gun and when he saw an anaconda attacking his family and friends who were still tied up, Tran knew just what to do. He ran over to them and untied them and still had his grandfather's rifle gun and he and his family and friends headed back in his grandparents' boat house to safety after he dumped all the baby anacondas down the waterfall and they all drowned. When a mother anaconda came back out from underwater, Tran shot and killed the anaconda repeatedly with a rifle gun yelling "I'm not afraid of you! Do you hear me?! I'm done running away from you!" and grunting. He saved his family and friends from being constricted or devoured, put the gun down and looked at his necklace sighing in relief after an anaconda was killed with a final shot and drowned back underwater with a dying screech after all the rifle gun bullets ran out. Tran, Kong, Bill, Sam, Jamie, Cole and Tran's parents, siblings Aaron, Lester and Valerie and paternal grandparents were the only survivors. But Cole was badly injured in the leg from baby anaconda bites yelping "Ow! My leg hurts!" so Tran wrapped a bandage on Cole's leg and gave him crutches. His family was so proud of him for rescuing them and so was Cole, Jamie, Sam and Bill. Cole asked Tran if he was okay. Tran replied he was now but he had lost his dog Ginger. His family and friends wanted to know what happened to her. She was mentioned by him that she was just eaten by a anaconda underwater after rescuing him. Bill apologized to Tran that he was really sorry about his family guide dog, Cole said "Yeah", he and Jamie said in unison "Me too" and Sam said "We all are". And when the family and friends got home on a cruise ship, Tran said goodbye to his grandparents and Kong and promised to see them and the baby monkey again. He buried Ginger's devoured corpse to her funeral and her grave in Borneo, and when the family headed and got home in Malibu, she was replaced by a new puppy Mushu after Tran owned her from a puppy adoption. He loves Mushu the way he did with Ginger. On his 4th grade picture day, he also showed his pet ball python Lea to his class at show and tell and then accidentally cracked the egg which got stuck in his hair while trying to practice his juggling show during show and tell on the morning of the class picture day which the school bullies he beat down lead by an English-American 10-year-old fifth-grader and school bully Jack Byron teased him about and bullied him by sing-song-ing "Tranny's hair smells like rotten eggs!" repeatedly in the hall and in the school bathroom. He yelled at them "Hey! Cut it out! Stop it, okay? Stop it! Stop it, okay? Stop it! Stop it, okay? Stop it! Hey! Stop that! Cut it out!" in the bathroom and "Go away! Get away from me! Stop it! Get away from me!" in the hall and tried to get egg yolk out of his hair in the bathroom, but they ignored him and they kept teasing and bullying him which made him cry in sobs. Sam comforted and asked him if he was okay. Cole asked him what was the problem. Tran sobbed about the egg in his hair which Jack teased him about. He had to talk to the principal right away and he spoke up to solve his hair problem. After that, Tran came back in the hall and beat up Jack again using Jeet Kune Do punching, kicking and knocking him down with a bloody nose as a revenge for taunting, teasing, bullying and laughing at him. He finally washed away the yolk out of his hair in the bathroom so it didn't smell like rotten eggs anymore and then pulled out his scab necklace from underneath his shirt. Just then, after that, the boys were called by the principal John Livingston who would see them when he got back to his office calling them on his loudspeaker "Jackson David Byron and Trenton Danny Wu, please come here, I would like to see you two in my office". Jack with a bloody nose apologized to Tran for bullying, teasing, taunting, pranking and picking on him, Tran no longer with eggs in his hair forgave him and told him not to do anything bad on him again and Jack came up with a nickname for him "Jin-sou" and promised not to be a school bully anymore and they became friends. Just then Principal Livingston came back to his office where Tran and Jack were sitting there and did not suspend Tran because he is against all bullies and had to go home from school after his school picture in the auditorium. Principal Livingston was glad Jack apologized to Tran for bullying him and promised not to do it again. However he was very angry at Jack for bullying him and other children and furiously suspended him for bullying other students and called the school police ? on him. Jack was also hereby expelled from the Malibu Elementary school forever and taken to his mother Sofia Byron because he got kicked out of 5th grade for bullying Tran and other children and they moved to South Carolina for 6th grade in middle school instead. After Jack's expulsion for bullying other children which left Sara crying and Macy comforting her, Tran came to the auditorium and the teacher Miss Lilly brushed his hair that didn't smell like rotten eggs for class picture and at the class picture he said "Cheese!" and the class picture came out good. On his way home from school, he accidentally killed Lea with his bike when she fell onto the road and was crushed by its wheels with her bones broken. Tran crying in sobs picked her corpse up from the road and she died in his arms. He rode her dead body biking home. Before lunch at Wendy's, Tran had bad news for his mom who was babysitting Val. He had accidentally killed one of his pets Lea while riding on his bike when she fell onto the road and she was dead. She was buried by him to her funeral and was replaced with another reptile: a new baby turtle named Lee-Wun who he got from the pet shop. He was always happy with his new turtle but he would never forget Lea. When he was 10 years old, his mother died from illness while Tran was trying to wake her up thinking she was asleep but gasped and realized that she had died so he, his brothers, younger sister, dad, aunts, uncles, cousins and maternal grandparents attended her funeral at church where he cried in sobs for her sick corpse. He also made a speech about the memorial of his late mom at church while his dad, brothers, younger sister, cousins, maternal grandparents, aunt, uncles and best friend Cole watched. Tran was also the groomsman in his aunt's wedding in Phoenix, Arizona while his little sister was the flower girl and his brothers were ring-bearers. He had also starred in his 5th grade school play The Jungle Book where he played the lead character Mowgli a man-cub who wears the same necklace he still wears for keeps and red loincloth, eats fruit and was raised by wolves while Cole played Baloo the fun-loving bear who eats honey, their new friend and Mr Douglas's eyeglasses wearing son Ben Douglas played Bagheera the sweet and kind panther, Tran's girlfriend and love-interest Jamie Wang played Raksha the wolf mom, Sam played Kaa the cute but creepy girl reticulated python and Lester Mark played Grey the wolf pup and also played infant Mowgli and when the play finished, the audience clapped and cheered. When Tran and Lester were almost 17 years old and Val was almost 9 years old, Lester smoked a cigarette walking on his was home from school while Tran and Val were on their way home from their grandparents apartment for a week. Lester walked home from school still smoking a cigarette. He was caught by Tran and Val who warned their dad about him cussing in front of the gym coach and smoking a cigarette on his way home from school. When Lester was reading his magazines, his dad called him and had a talk with him about his cusses and cigarette smoking. He was grounded for a day for cussing in front of the gym coach and a week for smoking a cigarette on his way home from school with no car keys for a day and no phone, no TV, no video games and no friends over for a week. At his and Lester Mark's 17th birthday, he had a tattoo on both his shoulders as a birthday gift and in his early 20s, his maternal grandparents died from illness so he and his family attended their funeral. His favorite famous scientist Michael Stern died in a car crash at the age of 29. After Michael's death and funeral, Tran met Michael's younger sister Gail Stern who took over as scientist. At 23 years old, Tran became an assistant captain. He and his girlfriend Jamie and his family said, hugged and kissed goodbye but promised to see each other again soon so Val looked after his favorite teddy bear Snuggle Bear. Jamie was sick and could not go to Borneo this time because she was not feeling well so Gail took over. Tran went to Borneo on his boat for a vacation from Jeet Kune Do to visit Kong who is now a grown monkey and his paternal grandparents he had not seen since he was a 9-year-old boy for his family vacation at their boat-house for a visit and a sleepover. He went to the Borneo bar with Bill before he and Bill were being picked up along with Cole and now-scientist and former classmate Ben, who no longer wears glasses and now has contact lenses he received and started wearing contacts before starting college, for a river trip by Gail, childhood classmate Sam, now-scientist and former school bully Byron and Gail's love-interest and boyfriend Gordon Mitchell while on a break from his Jeet Kune Do match.
