University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi announces 1000 scholarships for Professional candidates pursuing Post graduate Professional Courses such as Engineering & Technology, Management, Pharmacy etc. at recognized Indian Universities/Institutions/ Colleges for the academic period 2013 – 15. The scholarship is available only for candidates pursuing full time post graduate courses.

Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (MITS), Madanapalle a premier institute in the Region of Rayalaseema bagged FIVE FELLOWSHIPS for the academic period 2013 – 2015. Out of which four fellowships awarded to MBA and One to M.Tech student studying Digital Electronics awarded to this college.

Scholarship amount: Selected candidates pursuing M. Tech will receive Rs.5000/-per month and a contingency of Rs. 15,000/- per annum. Selected candidates pursuing other professional Post-Graduate courses (MBA etc) will receive Rs.3000/- per month and a contingency grant of    Rs.10, 000/- per annum. The scholarship will be valid for two/three years depending on the duration of the course.

Selection: UGC office will make the selection based on merits of the respective candidates. The first installment of the admissible grant will be given directly to the concerned institution. Following which the grant will be given on receipt of the Utilization Certificate and statement of expenditure for the last grant paid.
