Violet Wakes up Briefly

While Vesser is passing time at the witch's house hoping the weather will get better, Violet suddenly gasps and comes back to consciousness. One of the apprentices comes over and checks on her, listening to her breathing, feeling her forehead and other basic medical functions.

Violet starts coughing something out, Vesser gets closer and Violet is saying something about needing her book. The apprentices rubs her forehead gently, "It's alright, you need your rest."

Violet coughs more, "Need....book...journey book...need to..." She starts to fade again. She snaps herself back await for a moment, "Tell Figol and Sirius...tell them....tower " She says a word no one understands and then starts to draw a symbol in some dust near her hand before falling unconscious again. One of the apprentices quickly brings some paper and draws the symbol on the paper in a fine hand, she's probably a calligrapher.

The witch looks at it and shrugs, "Sorcerer's tongue, from the south. Means nothing to me. Make a copy for the spearmaiden. Her friends can perhaps understand it." The apprentices quickly makes a second copy and hands it to Vesser.

Vesser grabs a second piece of paper, scribbles down what Violet said as accurately as she can, and hides both sheets of paper in the driest pouch of her waterproofs. "Please keep her alive. I really need her to live." She trudges or hurries off (OOC: can't recall how far it is) through the rain toward the southern magicians.

On arrival: "She wanted Figol and Sirius to see this, or be told something, and she said she wanted the book so maybe we copy this symbol into the book? And she said 'tower' but whether that was something to say or who to say it to I'm not sure." She'll answer questions in as much detail as she can remember, consulting notes as required.
