China has launched multifaceted attack on India. It's a war silently being thrown at whereas but we are silently assuming that it'll pass by. The brutal fact is that China is helping Pakistan in many ways to give wounds to India. PoK is literally in Chinese control. There are many frontiers boardering India and Pakistan has beenn handed over to China by Pakistan. China is relentlessly building their army hubs over there. It is more than frightening to know that a powerful country than India is slowly and strategically controlling points tactically has been giving scores to India.

The Guardian writes "The five-year plan also includes the most relentless dam-building effort that any nation has ever undertaken in history. If approved, this program would cut off the country's nose to spite her face. It would irreversibly destroy China's great rivers and biodiversity hotspots of global importance." How important it is for India? For example China is making a dam over Yarlung Zangbo River which is in India called Brahmaputra. Brahmaputra is the biggest river in India serving drinking and irrigation water to millions of people. The height of the dam is slated to be 3260 meter. It will produce 500 megawatt of electricity. China plans to supply this to Guangdong and Hong Kong and sell it to neighbouring countries like Myanmar, Thailand, Bangladesh, Laos and Cambodia. On the one hand it will produce revenue for China however India will lose strategic bargaining power since the dam is being erected at an area of 90,000 square meter which is still under dispute between the countries.

Now the point is one country which defeated us in 1962 war and snatched a huge area from us for which Jawaharlal Nehru government vowed in the parliament to get the land back at all costs. Where are the efforts to get the land back from the successive governments of India?

In the meatime China has overthrown India on many accounts. Be it economic power, military power, scientific development, social development (don't tell me democracy) and off course strategic ties with the neibhourhood countries. India is lagging far behind in all possible aspects of a national long time programmes.

How does the Government of India prepare in advance to protect the Indian as people and India as a nation from future Chinese attacks ? Where are the programmes to advance ourselves over China? Sleeping giants don't rule. Is it? The government of India should come forward and declare it to the country thier programmes to protect the interest of Indian citizenry.

Leaving you with another example of ignoring habbits of Indian Political Class. China is making a dam on Siang River. The river flows from Himachal Pradesh. The river is almost dried up. The eyes of Himachal people will fill with tears, that's for sure. Will the Government of India listen?

What is the problem after all? Are our leaders visionless people? Can't they think of the future? Are we overobsessed with Pakistan? Is it a Chinese strategy to force India to keep on thinking and comparing itself to Pakista? Is that not a readymade solution for China to keep Indian far behind them? Are we too busy with elections occuring every now and then?

Elections are really becoming another point of concern for the political class. Is democracy becoming devil for development? There should be only one election in five years simultaneously at the centre and in states. This will give them time to think at a large level.
