The Mitchelton Sports Club is saddened to learn of the passing of Douglas Green. Douglas is the eldest son of Gary Green, a Life Member of our Club, and former Sports and Football Club President.

We pass on our condolences to the whole Green Clan, but especially Gary, Brenda, Chris and Nicole during this very difficult time. Douglas was 27 years old and suffered a short illness before his passing.

The funeral will take place on Wednesday 27 February at the Lakeview Chapel, Albany Creek Crematorium.

The Green family wishes to pass on their sincere thanks to all the families who have sent kind messages and thoughts, and asks those attending tomorrow’s service to wear colours (rather than black) to celebrate Douglas’ life.
