Creek, Valor, Regis and Mitchell Football Families and friends:
I have a tie to each of your schools. I am a Mitchell alum (from the 1981 CS Sports Hall of Fame team), my kids go to Creek, and my good friends are the AD’s at Regis (and I just happen to like Valor). We have either lots of students or very active booster clubs, and lots of school pride.
I need your help! We can win the school $17,500. We have a great highlight competition where the school with the most online votes can win. Basically:
1. You download a football highlight,
2. The students, or any other booster, votes for it online,
3. The most votes wins.
If you are interested, note this:
1. This is a national competition, but a local effort. Last year, some small schools won. We have to rally the kids to win,
2. Get me the name of the person who can or may want to coordinate this for your school,
3. I will provide any help I can,
4. I am looking into providing extra computers to put in the cafeteria, or at a game, so kids and fans can vote for the school,
5. It would be helpful to get the booster club, student council, activities coordinator, cheerleaders, or other boosters involved,
6. Someone at the school downloads a clip, (not the game film),
I would love to see a Colorado school win it. Here is the link from our website:

Subject: Re: Football - Friday Night Feats competition could win Creek, Regis, Valor or Mitchell $17,500
Maybe my kid's school, Grandview has a clip or 2 ending Mullen's 36 game win streak a few weeks ago that gained national attention. I'm not crazy about the private schools recruiting tactics and am sure that all three of those schools can afford more than computers. You just named (Mitchell excluded) some of the wealthiest schools in the state. Mitchell would probably be the neediest. I would be more than happy to forward to Grandview's head coach.
