ERROR BUILDING WITH NEW UPDATE

When using the newly released switch component in my project its working fine on the companion app but when i build it in apk and install it in my phone the app does not open and crashes and shows the message that the app keeps stopping. I tried removing the switch component 

and deleting all related blocks and building it again then it works just fine. anybody else facing this problem? is there a way around this?

tried it on

samsung J6 running on android 9

nokia running on android 7

motorola x4 running on android oreo

Try changing the theme to something other than "Classic".
