Dim screen and silent device via code?

My students are working on an app with App Inventer 2 where they need to have a user with authority (e.g teacher) have control to black out/dim the screen and silent the volume of the other devices (all Lenovo tablets) on the network (eg. student devices). Is this possible?

An app like this is  not possible with App Inventor 2 or even the professional Android Studio Android compiler controlled by another device.   Building an app that could do this would involve using code to change device system settings.  This creates a security issue on the Android device.

the settings extension is able to set the brightness and the volume of the alarm, music and ringtone of the current device https://puravidaapps.com/settings.php

the app will need system write permission, see the example app there how to do it

however to do this for other devices might be a challenge...
