Hi,
I tried the Activity Starter project. It works, but it requires user (ie me) to go to the Send screen & press a button.
I want the email app to send an email w/o having Gmail intervene in the middle.
How can I do this?  Any commments appreciated.
PS: I am willing to pay for an extension.
I checked IFTTT also, but it does not work.

Thanks, Cal Tiger

Have you read this ?

You can use the sendDirect block but you won't be able to upload app to Google Play

I think you must be referring to the Texting feature.  I am looking to send an email directly, w.o Intervention.

Thanks.

Yes, in another world ;)

The same premise applies though, Google does not allow automated sending of emails without user confirmation

I am looking to send an email directly, w.o Intervention.

one solution is to use the Mail extension to send emails via SMTP without user interaction to several To, Cc or Bcc addresses, add several attachments and send in plain text or HTML format

Thanks for the reply. Am looking at this Sample App, but running into the same problem on FAQ#1.

Namely:
I am trying to use the Sample SMTP App.  Looks like I am getting the same error as below.

Tried to go into Settings & find the Allow Less Secure Apps, but dont see it on my mobile.
However, I do see the option from my Laptop (Chromebook).

Can anyone suggest where this Setting is located?

Thanks, Cal Tiger
