I am having problems with the fusion tables and changing the rows with the phone. I keep getting an error that says there is no column 7 even though there are more then 7 columns in our fusion table. The error keeps saying that the query can not be processed because of the column error. If anyone has any information that could help please reply.

Hi Robert,

Most people have trouble with the Fusion Tables.  Be aware, at the best of times, the Fusion Tables are flaky.   Google calls them EXPERIMENTAL.    The way the tables work is constantly changing.  Last week, Google made a change that locked out AI users for several days...they did a speedy fix once they realized the problem.   Also, often, the tables are fussy.  Either because of heavy traffic or issues on a users DSL or network, connections are difficult.    Wanna' be a believer, visit your table using your PC, not your Android.  Modify things and see what happens.   Sometimes the changes occur immediately, sometimes it takes many seconds.    Advice: use the Fusion table with caution.   Nice tool but it isn't ready for prime time yet.

Regarding column change; Without seeing your blocks and table, it is difficult to give you advice.   If I had this issue, I would visit the Fusion Table from my PC and see if I could 'change' the rows.
Does that mean modify the contents of the rows?       I expect you may have a malformed query statement.   Do you know how to use the AI2  Do It debugger?   Do a right click on the Join block in the query, then capture the image Ctrl + PrntScrn in Windows ... something else in Mac .... you did not fill out the info requested at the beginning of ur post so I do not know what PC you have.   If u have Windows, capture the query blocks and Do It response in a png or jpeg    and the guys here will look at it.

Regards,
Steve

@SteveJG: I have a different opinion about fusion tables...

Most people have trouble with the Fusion Tables.
is there some kind of statistics somewhere which can prove this?

Be aware, at the best of times, the Fusion Tables are flaky.   Google calls them EXPERIMENTAL.    The way the tables work is constantly changing.
they are called experimental, but stable

Last week, Google made a change that locked out AI users for several days...they did a speedy fix once they realized the problem.
actually that problem was fixed in around 24 hours not several days and I do not remember any similar problem in the last 2 years which locked out users for a few hours...

Also, often, the tables are fussy.  Either because of heavy traffic or issues on a users DSL or network, connections are difficult.
??? I can't confirm that
but of course you have to use the correct syntax which is decribed in the excellent documentation, else it will not work

changes in the table occur immediately, but if you take a look at the result with a browser, it will take a few seconds until the changes are published!

@Robert:
to find out, if the sql statement is correct, right click onto the join block of the sql statement and select do it then post a screenshot incl. the Do It result...

@ Taifun/Alfred,

You guys are entitled to your own opinions.   I stand by mine. The fusion tables are an interesting tool, they have their warts.   I relate my experience.
Glad you are happy with the Tables.  I find them useful, but I am not happy with them for many of my activities. Perhaps you have a better Internet connection.

For the moment, let us get Robert up and running?

Best regards,
Steve
