Is the Mole Mash tutorial accurate

I am trying to work through the mole mash tutorial for AI 2 and cannot find some of the procedures.  I am SOOO frustrated.  It looks like the screenshots are the layout of AI 1 but the procedures are AI2 - I am new to this and want to get ready for next week to use it as a project but surely it cannot be that hard?  If anyone can help me with any tutorials they have tried for AI2 I would be very grateful (or help me with this one).
