How to open folder on File Manager

Hello. I make a recording app, so i will open a default folder on storage/emulated/0/My Documents/Recording. How to can set it?

App Inventor does not have a file manager component to open a folder

but you could use the activity starter instead

Yes, i know, but ... my file come as storage/emulated/0, so i will set to storage/emulated/0/My Documents/Recording.

I do it, but ... Read:

When i click button, so i go to NOT storage/emulated/0/My Documents/Recording.

When i click button, so i go to storage/emulated/0

So i wil set a storage/emulated/0/My Documents/Recording, NOT storage/emulated/0

so you pick a 3gp file following this example https://puravidaapps.com/pick.php and then try to play it using the activity starter? is that correct?

do you get an error message? what happens exactly? 

can you explain a little bit more in detail what you are trying to do?

do you already know how to debug your blocks?

it would be interesting to know, what is the value is of ResultUri...

Yes. I picked as 3gp, and save from file. So i close and open again to find my recording. I have a menu as 'Open record file'. When i clicked it, will open as storage/emulated/0 on File Manager. But i will set as storage/emulated/0/My Documents/Recording when i clicked it. It's will open as storage/emulated/0, not storage/emulated/0/My Documents/Recording. How to set it?

probably you do not have any influence on the directory, the file manger is opening 

I'm assuming, your file manager opens always your root directory of your device

you could try AndExplorer from Lysesoft instead
