Hello, I'm new at app inventor and i would like to ask a question. I want to use the multiline option but i have tried many combinations in blocks editor and nothing works.!! HELP. (Thanks btw i'd appreciate your answers!)

In the textbox property, did you tick the MultiLine and change the height size?

I have ticked the multiline, the height is set to automatic.

Some random thoughts that might help ...

To pre-load a line feed character into your text, use \n

There is also  label component to try, if you just need output and not input.

Do as Abraham says, use \n. You will not see multiple lines in your designer, but when you run the app on your phone, \n will be interpreted as a new-line.

I have tried the \n command but in the site nothing work(what blocks do you use in the blocks editor for the multiline to work?) , i have not checked this in phone i will check it and i will tell you.

You can just set the text in the designer, it will show like this:

But on your phone (using the companion for testing) it will show this:

And, using a button or other event, you can set multiline text like this:

Resulting in:
