Continuous Side Scroll

Hey guys, I have a question that might actually be quite simple to answer. I am wondering if it is possible to create a game with a continuous side scroll. If you don't know what I mean, I'm talking about something like Jetpack Joyride, or flappy bird. If you guys know what I can do to create this (and random obstacles), please tell me.

Others will chime in here as well I'm sure, but the answer is no, and yes, maybe!

The only way I can think of doing what you want is to constantly change the image in the canvas when you hit the end (on the right), or hit the left side on the left.

Generically, the answer though is no.  You can scroll up and down in an AI app, but you can't scroll sideways.
