Importing Xylophone Example Project

I'm trying to import an example project into app inventor to edit. It's the Xylophone app http://www.appinventor.org/xylophone  . However, on this downloads page I don't see a .aia file to import into app inventor. App Inventor isn't allowing me to import the .apk or zip file, but I did manage to get it onto my phone as an app. How can I download it into app inventor to edit? Thanks!

zip files are App Inventor Classic projects, you can't import those into App Inventor 2

use one of the App Inventor 2 examples on that page

or more tutorials see here App Inventor 2 Tutorials

alternatively translate the project manually into App Inventor 2

You can use the AI Classic blocks as an example to code this in AI2.     Here are two places that shows the classic blocks:

My suggestion:    1 Try some blocks

                               2 If you get stuck in translating AI blocks to AI2 blocks, return here and ask a specific question

                               3 When you are finished, rejoice, return here and post either images or the aia of your finished translation.
