close screen with result

Hi, I have a problem with the function  'close screen with value result'.

I've used the function 'open another screen with start value' which allows the passing of lists between screens.

However the close screen with value result doesn't work the same way.

Can you only pass strings with close screen function?

Thanks, I used a TinyDB in the end as I need a database anyway.
