The default font for Android is droid sans

Other fonts, selected from the Designer Properties bin for Labels, Buttons,etc include  sans serif, serif, monospace.   You have the option to use only these three fonts  in AI2 projects at the present.  You can use images of text using other type fonts in Buttons to simulate additional fonts.   Droid sans is Ai2 sans serif .    See this detailed explanation:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Droid_fonts

Actually, Roboto is the new default Android font as of 4.0 I think.

Are there plans to add Roboto (with all the weights) to the list of fonts available in AI2 in the future?

Probably somewhere down the road they'll expand font possibilities, but it's not at all a priority at this time.

You can look at the issues list... Taifun sent you there above.

Operational bugs/issues are always first, additions and modifications to the User Interface and the blocks editor come there too.  The font thing is just not a priority.  The priorities are operational first.
