Hello to everyone.

That's my problem. Although I have placed the blocks correctly, the button image changes but the flashlight is unresponsive. The flashlight does not turn on. This problem has just developed. It was smooth before.

You are using Kodular not App Inventor. Ask your question there and not here.

Hi, the following MIT App Inv app does not work:

Could this be due to Android version 9 [Android One on Xiaomi A2 Lite phone] ?

up to now I did not update the extension using the new SDK 26 functionality

Hi Taifun,

The issue turned out to be a permission setting in Android 9.

ShakeForTorch is the name of my app.

Once I set the camera permission to ON it worked...

the flashlight extension now is updated and uses the new SDK 26 features
