Inputing Text

Does anyone here have any suggestions for being able to have a button input text onto a text box?

Not sure if I understand what you mean. 

You can populate a text box with any text you want when pressing a button.

You can keep a text box disabled and enable it after pressing a button.

You can hide a text box and make it visible by pressing a button.

Is that what you are asking?

Thank you for replying; I was thinking more like how a keyboard types. A way to press a button (or letter) and then have that letter appear on the screen. I thought the easiest way would be for that letter to appear in a text box, but I have no idea. Does that clear things up at all?
