Hello,

I am using MIT app inventor 2 (I have never used the older version), and yet when I try to export a project to my computer it does so in a zip format (instead of aia format). This means that I cannot import the project back onto AI2 since the format is not correct. Does anybody know why this is, and/or how I can change this?

Thanks

so from the Projects menu here http://ai2.appinventor.mit.edu/ you choose Export selected project (.aia) to my computer and you get a zip file?

.aia is a zip format, you can unzip it to see what is in it. The difference is that the extension is .aia instead of .zip
