RS232 serial communication via the USB interface of a tablet

Hi,

I have to make an RS232 serial communication via the USB interface of a tablet samsung ...

I saw an example of work with "Arduino Uno" and the app "USB Bridge for App Inventor 2"  

I would like to use the module "USB-COM232-PLUS1" produced by FTDI Chip instead of Arduino, and know if it works with the same app (USB Bridge for App Inventor 2)?

There are other better solutions?
