Can´t log out from a google account - IMPOSIBLE

By mistake I acessed to AI2 with a new google acoount. The problem is that I can not log out from this account, neither by logging out through the menu, neither logging out directly from Google. I have also tried to delete the cache, history and cookies from the 3 navigator I have installed in my computer. Furthermore, I have logged in with the right account in another laptop and ... I got atonished when I saw the unwanted account appear again. Indeed, it is not posible to log out from this acoount. I do not undestand anything. It sems there is a bug in there, but ... who knows?

Anyone can help me?

There is an issue that MIT is aware of.

Temporarily, use this advice:

Your   signin lasts for at least 5 minutes. If you need to logout and login to another account within 5 minutes, use the logout menu item as usual and then go to this link:


This will clear the login cookie and you can then go to ai2.appinventor.mit.edu and login normally.


Where you both able to log out using this information?

I tried i log out other account. when sing in my google account open other account

I have done all it is said in the instructions. The best I got is:

Internal Error or Session Timeout

There was an error processing your request. The most common reason for this is that you waited more then 5 minutes at the Google Login prompt.

If this is the case, then close this browser window, open a new window and attempt to login again.

If you continue to have problems, please Visit Our On-Line Help Forum and ask for assistence. You should provide us with the email address of the account you are having problems with. If you wish to protect your privacy, you do not need to provide your e-mail address in the forum, but a member of the MIT staff may request that you send it to them privately so we can debug the problem.

After a while I tried to login in again, and ... again there was the unwanted account. Please report me when the fix is ready. It is very important to me because I have a lot of work to do with my students. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the additional information.   It was passed on to the MIT technical team.   Post like yours are very useful  and let us know if a fix is completely successful.

You still have problems.   MIT will continue to look at the causes for YOUR distress and try to find a solution.

At least one of these folks were able to login. Closing this for now. The underlying issues have been resolved.
