Camera Extension to select between front nd rear camra without user intervention

Dear Team ,
 I am building a camera  extension to solve front camera issue in MIT app inventor using MIT camera API 2 but camera API 2 doesn't support lower version of android (below than Lollipop). It has camera method to check and select camera on a device. How to proceed forward?
