app inventore for social

Hi,

I would like to know if App Inventore has enough capabilities in order to create social apps such as Whatsup or similar...if there is any possibilities to create dynamic content!
If yes,next si show?with a mix with PHP plus MySQL or with embedded potential?

App Inventor apps cannot run in the background...that sort of restricts what you might be able to do.
